I've noticed that people
complained about zsirc
draining up the
battery.
I may have stumbled apon
the (or one of) reason
why.
By the looks of it, or
what I believe, is that
the text is an array of
labels.
By adding a limit for the
lines shown, there will
be less power being used
to refresh the lines, and
it will take less storage
on the memory, allowing
other programs, and
zsirc, to run faster.
Could this be one
legitimate consequence
for the battery? I'm not
completely sure on the
algorithm you used for
the displayed text. :p |
